Terms of service
For Etappe Flow and Etappe Book. Etappe is offered to businesses only.
Version 1 · effective 18 October 2026
1. Scope
These terms apply to all contracts between StoreData IP Ltd, Larnaca, Republic of Cyprus (we), and its customers (customer) for the use of Etappe Flow and Etappe Book (Etappe). The customer's own terms do not apply, even if we do not expressly object to them.
Etappe is offered exclusively to businesses, not to consumers. By registering, the customer confirms that it acts in the course of its trade, business or profession. A valid VAT identification number is required on every plan.
For Enterprise contracts, the provisions of the individual contract (offer, framework agreement, service levels) take precedence over these terms.
2. Conclusion of contract and account
The contract is concluded when the customer completes the registration and creates its workspace. A subscription to the Business plan is additionally concluded when the checkout is completed. Enterprise contracts are concluded individually on the basis of an offer.
Whoever creates the workspace becomes its first administrator and must be authorised to represent the customer. The customer keeps its details — company name, address, VAT identification number, billing address — up to date.
If the competent register rejects the VAT identification number, the customer has 14 days to correct it. After that we may restrict access to administrators until it is corrected.
3. Services
We provide Etappe as software over the internet (software as a service). The scope and limits of each plan — team seats, projects, storage, AI allowance — are those shown on the pricing page when the contract is concluded.
We develop Etappe continuously. Features may change as long as the core — tickets, comments, attachments, user and permission management — is preserved and the change is reasonable for the customer.
We operate Etappe with the care of a professional provider but, outside an Enterprise contract, do not commit to a specific availability. We publish the operating status and incidents at status.etappe.ai. Where possible, we schedule maintenance for times of low usage.
4. AI features
Etappe includes features that process content with language models, such as summaries, classification suggestions and reply drafts. Their results are suggestions: the customer reviews them before using them. We give no warranty as to their accuracy.
AI can be switched off per workspace, per project and per person. When it is off, no content is sent to model providers. Neither we nor our model providers use the customer's content to train models.
5. Prices and payment
We are established in the Republic of Cyprus. All prices are net of VAT: customers established in an EU member state other than Cyprus account for the VAT themselves (reverse charge); customers in Cyprus are charged Cypriot VAT, customers outside the EU none.
Free costs nothing. Business is charged per team seat, monthly or yearly in advance. The first 30 days of Business are free; the customer provides a payment method for this. Unless the customer cancels before the 30 days end, the paid subscription begins.
Seats added are charged with the next invoice on monthly billing and immediately pro rata on yearly billing. For seats removed, the unused portion is credited to the next invoice.
Billing and payment processing are handled by Stripe. Invoices are due on issue; for payment by bank transfer, within the payment term stated on the invoice.
If the customer is in default of payment, we may restrict access after a reminder and a period of at least 14 days until the amount is paid.
We announce price changes for running subscriptions in text form at least six weeks before they take effect. The customer may then cancel the subscription with effect from that date.
6. Term and termination
Free runs indefinitely; the customer can end its workspace at any time.
Business runs for one month or one year, depending on the billing interval, and renews for the same period. The customer can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current period, in Etappe under Administration › Plan & billing. After that, the workspace continues on the Free plan.
We may terminate Free with 30 days' notice, and Business at the end of the current period but no earlier than 30 days after notice. Enterprise contracts follow the individual contract. Either party's right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected — for us in particular in the case of a serious breach of section 7.
7. Customer obligations
The customer is responsible for the content that it and its users store in Etappe and ensures that it may process that content there.
In particular, the following are prohibited: unlawful content, malware, attacks on Etappe or other customers, circumventing plan limits or access restrictions, automated mass requests outside the documented interfaces, and reselling access without our consent.
The customer keeps credentials secret and informs us without delay if it suspects misuse. In the case of a serious breach we may temporarily block affected content or accounts; we will inform the customer.
8. Customer data
Everything the customer stores in Etappe remains the customer's. We receive only the rights we need to operate Etappe.
Insofar as we process personal data on behalf of the customer, the data processing agreement applies. It forms part of this contract.
If only a paid plan ends, the workspace continues on Free without losing data. If it exceeds the Free limits, the customer cannot create anything new until it is back within them.
If the customer ends its workspace or the contract ends, we freeze the workspace and delete it completely after 30 days. Until then we provide the customer's data on request in a common, machine-readable format.
To operate and improve Etappe we analyse usage data in aggregated form, such as consumption and load. We draw no conclusions about content or individual persons from it.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory statutory provisions.
In the case of slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations — obligations whose fulfilment makes the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance the customer may rely. Liability is then limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract, and at most to the fees the customer paid in the twelve months before the damaging event.
On the Free plan we are liable only in the cases of the first paragraph.
We back up data daily. For loss of data we are liable, within the second paragraph, only for the effort of restoring the data from these backups.
10. Confidentiality
Each party treats confidential information of the other party received under the contract as confidential and uses it only for the contract — also after it ends.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for the future. We notify administrators of changes by email at least six weeks before they take effect. If the customer does not object before they take effect, they are deemed accepted; we point this out in the notice. If it objects, either party may terminate the contract with effect from that date.
12. Final provisions
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction is Larnaca, Republic of Cyprus; we may also sue the customer at its seat.
These terms exist in German and English. If the versions differ, the English version prevails.
If a provision is invalid, the remainder of the contract remains valid.
